Jaime Taylor joins Chaucer Singapore’s Political Risks and Credit team

Specialty (re)insurance group Chaucer has strengthened its Singapore practice with the appointment of underwriter Jaime Taylor who joins from Talbot Risk Services.

Taylor will work in Chaucer’s Political Risks and Credit team as class underwriter and brings nearly two decades of experience in the insurance industry. She spent over seven years at Talbot Risk Services, part of AIG, where she served as senior class underwriter in the firm’s Political Risk & Credit team.

Taylor will join Chaucer’s Singapore team to help fulfil the firm’s ambitious growth plans and maintain its strong presence in the market.

She also worked for Texel Asia as Credit and Political Risks Broker and has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Nanyang Technological University.

Margaret To, Head of Singapore at Chaucer, said: “Jaime has a wealth of experience in underwriting and will significantly bolster our already strong team in Singapore. Her considerable expertise will help us achieve our ambitious growth targets.”
