Zak Mallen

Zak joined Chaucer in London in June 2013 before transferring to our Bermuda office in 2020 as US Casualty Reinsurance Underwriter. He predominantly writes Professional and General Liability, as well as Worker’s Compensation. He is a lead market underwriter for Cell Captive reinsurance and non-standard risks. He is involved in a number of strategic projects at Chaucer, including a cross-class Diverse & Bespoke Group, which focuses on alternative specialty, as well as Chaucer’s Innovation Group. Zak holds a law degree from The University of Newcastle and completed an MBA in 2019.
